We are hiring

Goal

To support the Strategic Relations team in strengthening LACNIC's relational capital with organizations and stakeholders across the regional and global Internet Community, including governments, civil society, and other relevant entities in the region.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the team with administrative tasks, managing payments, travel, and project communications.
  • Organizing and maintaining the CRM, ensuring that the information on stakeholders, processes, documents, discussion spaces, etc. is up to date.
  • Collaborating in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other institutional materials for various audiences.
  • Supporting logistics and communications for the department's events.

Requirements

Our search is geared towards university students or professionals in Social Communication, Political Sciences, or International Relations.

  • Proficiency in English (required); knowledge of Portuguese (desirable).
  • Knowledge of Internet Governance (desirable).
  • At least 1 year of experience in administrative activities. Experience in collaboration or cooperation with international organizations will be considered a plus.
  • Availability to travel approximately 20 days a year.

Position

We offer a part-time position with a competitive salary and an attractive benefits package (6 hours/day).

Goal

To handle the communication needs of the organization's staff, to receive and channel all visits, phone calls, faxes, emails, and messaging services. To support the People Engagement department in their administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Welcoming visitors and directing them to the appropriate person or department
  • Answering and forwarding phone calls
  • Handling correspondence and other packages, filing and monitoring the corresponding invoices
  • Assisting with administrative tasks and communications for the activities of the People Engagement department

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who has completed a secretarial course or similar.

  • Proficiency in English, knowledge of Portuguese (desirable)
  • At least four years of experience in similar roles
